Pickup in Islamabad and a drive on the Hazara Motorway past Mansehra and onto the Karakoram Highway to Besham.

Besham → Skardu
Along the Indus with a tea break at Dasu, through Chilas to Jaglot, where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush meet, and on to Skardu by evening.

Shangri-La Resort → Soq Valley
A morning walk in the garden of Shangri-La Resort, boating on Lower Kachura Lake and lunch at the resort, then Soq Valley for its streams and mountain views.

Shigar Valley
After breakfast, paramotor, a jeep safari and refreshments at the Sarfaranga desert, Blind Lake and the historic Shigar Fort.

Skardu → Karimabad
Drive via Jaglot and Gilgit to Karimabad in Hunza, with time for a walk through its streets and local shops.
