Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Islamabad → Muzaffarabad → Pir Chinasi
Drive from Islamabad or Rawalpindi through the Murree forest to Kohala Kashmir Point and the Kashmir Waterfall at Dulai. In the evening, drive up to Pir Chinasi for a nature walk, a short hike and mountain views.

Muzaffarabad → Sharda
An early start for Sharda, past Dhani Waterfall, Nauseri Dam, Chalyana and the Kundal Shahi waterfall. In Sharda, enjoy a short trek and river rafting.

Drive to Kel, exploring the local villages on the way, then hike up to Arang Kel.

A private Toyota Prado from Islamabad, with an experienced driver who knows the Neelum Valley road. It seats up to 6 passengers.
Taobat is the last village at the far end of Neelum Valley, beyond Kel. The road is narrow and rough after Sharda, which is why we use a 4×4 for this part of the trip.
March to October. From December to February snow usually closes the road beyond Sharda, so Kel, Arang Kel and Taobat can’t be reached.
