Islamabad → Batakundi
Via Abbottabad, Balakot, Kiwai Waterfall, Paras, the trout farm at Mahandri, Suki Kinari, Kaghan and Naran, with melting glaciers on the way, to Batakundi.

Batakundi → Babusar Top → Gilgit
Refreshments at Besal, boating on Lulusar Lake, Babusar Top, the Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the 3M Junction, then on to Gilgit.

Drive to Nomal and take a jeep on the 4×4 track to Naltar for Blue Lake, Firoza Lake and Satrangi (Rainbow) Lake, then on to Karimabad.

Explore Altit and Baltit forts and the museum at Baltit Fort, then the views from Eagle’s Nest.

Boating and jet skis on Attabad Lake, the zipline at the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, a yak burger at the Yak Grill, then Sost and Khunjerab Pass in Khunjerab National Park.

Drive back over Babusar Top, with boating and a zipline on the Kunhar River near Naran.

By jeep on a 4×4 track from the Naltar turn-off near Nomal. The jeep is hired locally and isn’t included in the price.
The route uses Babusar Top, which is usually open from about May or June to October. Outside those months we can take the Karakoram Highway via Besham instead.
Yes. It is a long day trip from Karimabad along the Karakoram Highway, open in summer and autumn and closed in winter. Carry your CNIC or passport.
