By air, you can easily reach Skardu within 40-45 minutes from Islamabad. Don’t worry! If you’re from any other city, you can book your flight to Skardu from Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad.
 
In these four days, you’ll get familiar with the Balti culture by visiting local villages, historical forts, and Skardu Bazaar. This package is designed for the summer season, during which you can enjoy the moderate temperature, lush green landscapes, and meadows. In these four days, you’ll explore Soq Valley, Upper and Lower Kachura Lakes, Bashu Valley, Kharpocho Fort, Shigar Valley, Katpana Lake & Katpana Desert, and Skardu Bazaar.

Day 01: Skardu

  • Visit Katpana Lake and Katpana Desert (depends on time)
    • Visit the scenic lake

    • Visit Katpana Desert
    • Enjoy walking on the sand
    • Horse riding
  • Visit Kharpocho Fort (45 minutes from the town center ~ Hike 15-20 minutes) ~ OPTIONAL
  • Spend the night at a deluxe hotel in Skardu
 

Day 02: Soq Valley

  • In the early morning, move towards Soq Valley right after breakfast.
  • Sightseeing:
    • Soq Valley
    • Upper Kachura Lake
    • Lower Kachura Lake / Shangrila Resort
  • Activities:
    • Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Soq Valley
    • Visit streams
    • Enjoy boating at Upper Kachura Lake
  • Visit the peaceful garden of Shangrila Resort
  • Spend the night at " Signature Hotel Skardu ".
 

Day 03: Kharpocho Fort and Shigar Valley

  • In the early morning, visit Kharpocho Fort. After this, move towards Shigar Valley.

    • Jeep safari at Safranga Desert
